During 2nd quarter the 8th grade Physical Science students will be beginning a unit called Thrill RIde.

     Throughout the quarter students will be learing about Newton’s laws of Physics and will be performing labs using their knowledge of force and motion. At the end of the unit students will be required to build a model of an amusement park ride for the theme park Inertialand. In order to complete this project students will be required to bring in their own supplies for their group. We ask that students do not spend more than $10 on supplies. The purpose of this project is for students to use things they already have or things around the house that are no longer of use, not to go out and buy all of the supplies to build the amusment park ride.
